FAMILY IS EVERYTHING . . .
So no new post this week. My very handsome son
and his beautiful wife
are in town after being out of country for 5 years!
With three gorgeous grandchildren to get to know again,
my priorities are definitely on family this week.
Once they've gone, look for a long and very
boring post as I sit behind the screen, crying,
sniffling, and trying to figure out a way to put my
emotions into a new story.
WATCH OUT, SOMEONE'S ABOUT TO BE MURDERED!
Yup . . .
IT'S SO-O-O CATHARTIC!
Oh enjoy your precious time with them! Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteEmbrace them without release! Kiss up on them until your lips are cracked and worn!
ReplyDeleteWhen they leave, grab two boxes of tissues, one for each eye, and sob for the void they leave. And rejoice in the most precious of memories!
I feel for you as my two sons and two granddaughters live 1300 miles away and I see them maybe once a year. And when I do, it is such a celebration. And when they try to leave I threaten to kidnap them! LOL!
Oh, Donna, I do understand. One daughter is in OR, one in VA and my son just returned from 5 years in Germany (we got to visit once). And he still won't be living around here. My youngest, Rachel always tells me that's what I get for raising strong, independent children. That little compliment and a quarter won't even get me a cup of coffee. So murder it has to be to stop the tears. hehehe
