In honor of nurses week, I want to give away a copy of
Miss Fishfly, to someone willing to have a read and do a review!
Searching for love everywhere but in the right places, Christie Hayes is confounded when chocolate brown eyes wink at her at her best friend's wedding. A narrow miss of the bedpan, and she discovers old Mr. Hartway's grandson, Colton Keller, and brown eyes are one in the same.
Miss Fishfly is the sequel to Polar Bear Plunge and will release in July, 2013.
For anyone who enjoys a light, happy read, Miss Fishfly just might be for you!
Send me your funniest nurse story in the comments
along with your email addy and I'll pick a winner tomorrow night. (Wed. 8th)
keep 'em clean, nurses!
And today...say a prayer for a nurse you know. Their jobs are thankless, and they are
our guardian angels in white!
In honor of my beautiful daughter,
Brandy Hayes, a nurse extraordinaire, who
is tireless when it comes to her patients.
(notice, I didn't say patience!)
THANKS TO ALL YOUR NURSES OUT THERE.
GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU HEALTHY AND STRONG!
Linda, the book sounds wonderful, especially since I am a nurse. Blessings on your writings, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Regina. No group deserve the thanks more. You ladies work and hear groans, moans, and complaints. You deserve so much more! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI really don't have any funny nurse stories, but I have had the care of some great nurses through the years.

Kay, I'd say that's just about as good, wouldn't you?
ReplyDeleteNo funny nurse stories for me either, but I am thankful for the many who helped out years ago when my then five year old ruptured his spleen and was in PICU for a week. Then just four years ago when my husband had a skiing accident and broke his pelvis from the bottom all the way through the top. He was hospitalized for almost two weeks.
ReplyDeleteYour book sounds like a lot of fun, Linda.
Yes, it has been a blessing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. I can't wait to read it. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jodie
