There’s no suspense giveaway complete unless there’s an
offering from master suspense/thriller author, Ted Dekker!
Ted Dekker?!?!
Yes, New York Times Bestselling author, Ted Dekker.
After being raised by missionary parents, Dekker studied philosophy and religion. This is evident in many of his characters and their strong convictions.
But Ted Dekker?????
Oh yeah, scare me half to death.
You can’t be faint of heart to read a Dekker
novel, but you do have to want the thrill of your life.
Now, don’t expect to be converted from a pagan to a believer, but expect amazing
thrills and chills that will leave you breathless, afraid to turn off the lights, but panting for more of Ted Dekker’s suspense. And expect to find characters—with character.
Again, these are not novels for a novice suspense reader:
YOU WILL BE SCARED!
I’m giving away Bone Man’s Daughter and
The Bride Collector (c-r-e-e-p-y)
If you’ve never read Dekker, try to imagine Bones meets SCI on a dark and stormy night!

My favorite books by Ted Dekker are his Circle Series books. You don't need to enter me in the drawing, I already own and read both books. I just wanted to tell everyone that these books are awesome and keep you on the edge of your seats! Best of luck to everyone! God bless.
ReplyDeleteThanks, glad I found another Dekker fan. He seems to be hit or miss in the inspy community, but since I love a good scare, I love his books. Was finishing The Bride Collector, but edits got in the way. errgggh, can't wait to get back to it.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great book! Had me glued to my seat and afraid to turn the page at times. :) The Bone Man's Daughter was chilling and exciting as well. What I want is his newest book Eyes Wide Open.
ReplyDeleteLoved Blink--my very, very favorite. I read several others, but none stood out or got me buying copies for my unsaved friends like Blink did!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of Ted Dekker's books yet, but have heard a lot about how well written they are. I tried to go to his website to find out some info about him, but a blank page came up. However, I did find an interview he did in 2004. Ted Dekker said that the inspiration for his Martyr's Song series came from his brother's sudden death from viral meningitis at the age of 33. I felt sad for him, because I lost my brother when I was quite young, too. Writing that must have helped process his grief. I know writing helped has helped me through tough times like that.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I forgot to add my email:

He is on Facebook if anyone is interested:

I have not read any book by him yet. I can always start with these as mystery is my favorite genre.
